Justice Sanjay Sharma
Born on 03rd March, 1967.
Graduated in Law from Delhi University in the year 1990 and Post-Graduation in Law from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 2002.
Practised as an Advocate in the High Court as well as the Delhi District Courts during the period 1990-1992.
Joined Delhi Judicial Service w.e.f. 02.11.1992 and served as Metropolitan Magistrate, Civil Judge, Addl. Rent Controller and Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.
Promoted to Delhi Higher Judicial Service on 04.01.2006 and was posted in various jurisdictions as ADJ, ASJ, POCSO, CBI and Commercial Court.
Remained posted as Principal Judge Family Court North East District from 25.10.2023 to 01.07.2025 and Principal Judge Family Court (HQ) from 01.07.2025 A/N to 08.08.2025.
He had served as Principal District & Sessions Judge, Shahdara District, Karkardooma Courts w.e.f. 08.08.2025 till 17.01.2026.
Elevated from Delhi District Court to Hon’ble High Court of Delhi as an Additional Judge on 21.09.2026.
