JUSTICE CHANDRASEKHARAN SUDHA
Born on 9th October 1964 at Thiruvananthapuram, Justice C. S. Sudha completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. She thereafter obtained a B.A. in Economics from Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram and LL.B. from the Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram. She enrolled as an Advocate on 8th January 1989 and commenced practice at the District Court, Thiruvananthapuram. She entered the Judicial Service in 1995, securing the first rank in the selection process. She served in various capacities as Munsiff-Magistrate and Sub Judge/Assistant Sessions Judge. She was promoted to District and Sessions Judge in 2012 and officiated as Additional District and Sessions Judge at Kollam. In 2013, she went on deputation as Registrar of the Competition Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi, and was appointed Registrar of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, New Delhi, in 2017. She was thereafter repatriated and served as Special Judge, PoCSO, Palakkad, and subsequently as Additional Director of the Kerala Judicial Academy. On 24thMay 2021,she assumed office as District and Sessions Judge/STAT, Ernakulam.
Justice C. S. Sudha was appointed as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Kerala on 20th October 2021 and was made a Permanent Judge on 5th September 2023. She was subsequently transferred to this Court and assumed office on 28th October 2025.
