1. Having heard learned Counsel for the parties, Mr. S.K. Singh, learned Counsel for the respondent is agreeable to this writ petition being disposed of by clarifying para 8 of the impugned judgment dated 17 December 2024 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal1 in OA 2078/2024 to the effect that the applicant would be entitled to the benefit of one notional increment from 1 May 2023 in view of the clarifications given by the Supreme Court in KPTCL v. C.P. Mundinamani2 and Kranti Associates Pvt. Ltd. v. Masood Ahmed Khan3.

2. The parties having, thus, amicably resolved the controversy, the writ petition is disposed of.  

3. Let the necessary payment, if any, be made within a period of six weeks from today.
