1. On 24 March 2026, it was recorded by the Joint Registrar that the respondent had acknowledged that the issue stood settled and that the settlement amount of ?55,35,616/- had been received by the respondent vide cheque no.939679.  

2. There is no appearance on behalf of the respondent. In view thereof, dispute does not survive for adjudication.

3. The appeal is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid settlement.
