1.	Allowed, subject to just exceptions.

3.	This is a petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita [“BNSS”], 2023, seeking quashing of FIR No. 326/2023 dated 11.08.2023 for the offences under Sections 323/354/354B/498A/506/509/34 IPC, Kanjhawala.
4.	It is submitted that the marriage between the son of petitioners No. 1 & 2 and respondent No. 2 took place on 30.04.2015, as per Hindu rites and ceremonies and on account of misunderstanding, the present FIR got registered at the instance of the respondent no. 2.
5.	It is further submitted that the chargesheet has since been filed and during the pendency of the proceedings, both parties were referred to Mediation, wherein, they have amicable resolved their disputes vide Settlement Agreement dated 19.03.2026 (Annexure P-3), and pursuant to the said settlement, the parties have started living together and have also agreed to withdraw all the pending proceedings. 
6.	Both parties are physically present before the Court. They have been identified by their respective counsels as also as by the Investigating Officer, WSI Jyoti from PS Kanjhawala, present in Court. 
7. 	Respondent No.2 confirms that she has amicably settled all her disputes with petitioners without any force, fear, coercion and has no objection if the FIR No. 326/2023 is quashed against the petitioners.
8.	Both Parties undertake to adhere to the terms of the settlement in its true letter and spirit.
9.	In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, continuing with criminal proceedings, would serve no useful purpose, especially, when dispute does not involve any public interest and is, primarily, private dispute in nature. In any case, even the complainant does not wish to press any charges against the petitioners.
10.	Accordingly, exercising the inherent powers vested in this Court under Section 528 of the BNSS, it is deemed appropriate to quash the instant FIR.
11.	Consequently, to secure the ends of justice, FIR No. 326/2023, dated 11.08.2023, under Sections 323/354/354B/498A/506/509/34 IPC registered at Police Station Kanjhawala, along with consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, is hereby, quashed. The original affidavits of the parties, copies of which have been placed on record in the present proceedings, be submitted before the learned Trial Court, so that they become part of the Trial Court Record, within four weeks from today.
12.	Petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly. 
13.	Pending application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
