J U D G M E N T    (ORAL)

1.	Petitioners seek quashing of case FIR No. 666/2022 of PS Burari, Delhi for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC on the ground that the complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has compromised the disputes with the petitioners.

2.	Learned APP for State assisted by IO/SI Vikash accepts notice and submits that State has no objection to this petition.

3.	The respondent no.2 is present in Court today and is identified by IO/SI Vikash and she accepts notice. 

4.	Keeping in mind the nature of the dispute, I have spoken with respondent no.2 in Hindi and it is stated by her that she has compromised all disputes with the petitioners. It is also submitted by her that for past about one year, she is living happily with the petitioners as a close family. Respondent no.2 submits that one son was born from her wedlock with the present petitioner no.1, and that son is also living happily with the family, so now she does not wish to continue prosecution of petitioners.

5.	Having spoken with respondent no.2, I am satisfied that it would be in the interest of justice not to push the parties through a full dress trial.

6.	Therefore, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 666/2022 of PS Burari, Delhi for offence under Section 498A/406/34 IPC as well as proceedings arising out of the same are quashed. The accompanying applications also stand disposed of.
