J U D G M E N T    (ORAL)
1.	Petitioner, being a complainant de facto in the CBI case RC No.0032024A0041, has filed this petition seeking police protection.

2.	It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that petitioner filed an application before the competent authority, the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts, New Delhi in accordance with the provisions of the Witness Protection Scheme. The said representation was filed on 19.09.2026 but till date, no decision has been passed.

3.	After part submissions, as requested by counsel for petitioner, the petition is disposed of, directing the competent authority, i.e., the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Rouse Avenue Courts, New Delhi, to decide the representation dated 19.09.2026 of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, but positively within one week from today. Accompanying application stands disposed of.

4.	For compliance, copy of this order be immediately sent to the competent authority.
