1. The present petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 21st August, 2023, passed by this Court in CONT.CAS(C) 961/2022, whereby, directions had been passed in the following manner:

2. The present contempt petition has been occasioned as it is the allegation of the petitioner that the respondents are creating disturbance in the day-to-day operations of the Gurudwara, Shri Guru Singh Sabha (“Gurudwara”).
3. However, learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 12 vehemently opposes the aforesaid submission, and submits that respondent nos. 1 to 12 have not caused any hindrance or disturbance to the smooth functions/operations of the Gurudwara.
4. The aforesaid statement is taken note of, and respondent nos. 1 to 12 are held bound by the same. It is directed that the respondents shall not create any obstruction or disturb the day-to-day functioning of the Gurudwara, in any manner whatsoever.
5. At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner draws the attention of this Court to the photograph of the board of the Gurudwara, which is reproduced as under:
      
6. He submits that the board of the Gurudwara is lying on the floor, and that the petitioner has not been able to affix the same on the wall, on account of hindrance created by the respondents.
7. Accordingly, permission is granted to the petitioner to install the board of the Gurudwara at an appropriate place. It is further directed that the respondents shall not raise any obstruction in that regard.
8. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has also drawn the attention of this Court to the photographs of the Gurudwara to submit that renovation of the Darbar Sahib of the Gurudwara is required to be done. The concerned photographs are reproduced as under:

9. Perusal of the aforesaid photographs shows that the paint from the walls of the Gurudwara has peeled off, and that, there is damage to the ceiling of the Darbar Sahib.
10. This Court is of the view that no permission is required from any statutory authority to carry out such renovation work. 
11. Accordingly, without changing the structure of the Gurudwara building, the repair/renovation work is allowed to be carried out by the petitioner.

Since it is the contention of the petitioner that impediment is created by the respondents in the day-to-day operations of the Gurudwara, it is directed that the Authorized Representative (“AR”) of the petitioner shall be allowed to directly contact the Beat Officer, whose details are as follows:

13. In case of any obstruction or interference in the smooth functioning of the Gurudwara, the AR of the petitioner shall intimate the same to the aforesaid Beat Officer, who shall ensure that normalcy and order is restored in the working of the Gurudwara.
14. With the aforesaid directions, the present petition along with the pending applications filed before this Court, is accordingly, disposed of.
15. The next date of hearing, i.e., 02nd December, 2026, stands cancelled.
