1. The present petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 3rd July, 2026, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) 8630/2026, wherein, directions were given in the following manner:

2. In response to the present petition, learned counsel appearing for the respondents has handed over certain documents to this Court, which are taken on record. 
3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has placed reliance on the First Show Cause Notice under Section 17 of the National Council for Teacher Education Act, 1993, (“NCTE Act”) issued by the Regional Director National Council for Teacher Education (“NCTE”) on 31st August, 2026 to submit that meeting of the respondent took place on 22nd and 23rd July, 2026, wherein, upon examination of the documents available on record, the respondents were of the considered opinion that there are certain documents which are required to be furnished by the petitioner for change of the name. 
4. He has handed over the list of the documents, which are required to be submitted by the petitioner. 
5. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the said documents shall be deposited with the respondent, within a period of one week, from today. 
6. Accordingly, it is directed as follows: 
I. The documents as required by the respondents for the purposes of considering the application of the petitioner for change of name, shall be submitted by the petitioner with the respondents, within a period of one week from today. 
II. Upon receipt of the said documents, the respondents shall decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of one week, from the receipt of the documents. 
III. In case the aforesaid timeline is breached by the respondents, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the present petition. 
7. Accordingly, with the aforesaid directions, the present petition is disposed of. 
8. Pending application also stands disposed of.
