Born on 28.01.1968 at Jodhpur, did schooling from Bal Niketan School Jodhpur, obtained degree in B.Com (Hons.) in 1988  and earned degree in Law from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur in the year 1992. 

After getting himself enrolled with Bar Council of Rajasthan in September 1992, joined chamber of his father Sh. B.C. Mehta, Advocate. He advised and appeared for various corporate clients and other litigants in High Court and other Fora in matters relating to Taxation, Arbitration, Banking Laws, Company Laws, Electricity Laws, Environment Laws, Insurance Laws, Agrarian Laws, Municipal Laws. 

Handled cases involving Constitutional, Contractual Mining, Election, Civil Service and Industrial disputes. 

Was counsel for Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. and Panel Lawyer for Oriental Insurance Company Limited, United India Insurance Company Limited and Industries Development Bank of India (IDBI), Indira Gandhi Nahar Pariyojna (IGNP) (1999-2003). 

Appeared for National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Hindustan Zinc Limited, Rajasthan Financial Corporation (RFC), Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). 

Was elevated as a Judge of Rajasthan High Court on 16.11.2016.

Has been the Chairman of Steering Committee (Computer Committee), Committee for publishing Souvenir on completion of 75 years of establishment of Rajasthan High Court, Executive Committee, Rajasthan State Judicial Academy, Member of the General Council, National Law University Jodhpur, was a member of Various Committees of Rajasthan High Court, including Administrative Committee. 

Transferred to Hon’ble High Court of Delhi and took oath on 28.10.2025.
