Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Monga had school education in Punjab, where his father served as Judicial Officer, who later superannuated from Superior Judicial Services.

Did B.Sc. from DAV College, Chandigarh with first division, was also awarded the College Color, Graduated in law with first division from Punjab University, Chandigarh.  While studying law, also enjoyed teaching Chemistry in a School at Chandigarh.

Started law practice in 1991 as first generation lawyer in High Court at Chandigarh.  Shifted primary seat of practice to Delhi in year 1997-98, where he practiced for 20 years, till was sworn in as Judge in October, 2018.

Essentially had private sector institutional clients, punctuated with individual clientele.  Handled litigation as well as advised on corporate transaction/non litigation. 

Avid sportsman and a nature enthusiast.

Took oath as a Judge of High Court of Delhi on 21.07.2025.
