Justice R. S. Sodhi
Born on
11th November, 1945. Passed out from Bishop Cotton School, Shimla
in 1962. Graduated from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jallandhar in
1969. Did LL.B. From Punjab University in 1972. and was enrolled as
an Advocate with Bar Council of Delhi in 1972.
Practised in constitutional, civil, criminal, land revenue and
excise matters in the Supreme Court of India for 25 years.
Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India for the State of Punjab
from 1987-1989. Additional Advocate General for the State of Punjab
from 1997 till 6th July, 1999. Appointed as Judge of Delhi High Court
on 7th July, 1999. Retired on 7th Nov., 2007.
