Justice Dalip Kumar Kapur, M.A. (Punjab), LL.B (Cantab), Bar-at-Law - Born on 20th August, 1924. Educated at Cathedral School and Central Model School, Lahore, Government College, Lahore, Magdalene College, Cambridge, England. Enrolled as an Advocate on 26th March, 1951 at Simla, Practised mainly civil case on appellate side of the High Court at Delhi. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court w.e.f. 4.11.1970 for a period of two years. Reappointed for two years w.e.f. 4.11.1972. Appointed Permanent Judge on 04.09.1974. Appointed Chief Justice on 22.12.1985. Retired on 20.08.1986.
